How to use Bluetooth music with Audi MMI system?

First, you must pair your phone with the car via Bluetooth. The A6 series comes standard with Bluetooth functionality. After connecting Bluetooth, enter the phone interface and press the button in the lower right corner to access the settings menu. Select the Bluetooth option to enter, then choose the Bluetooth audio player to open the menu. Click MEDIA to enter media options, select the playback source, and then click the Bluetooth option. Once connected, you can play music via Bluetooth, which will automatically play music from your phone without needing to open the phone.
When I first got my Audi, I also struggled with the Bluetooth setup for a while. Actually, the process is quite straightforward. After getting in the car and starting the ignition, find the "Media" icon on the center console screen and tap it—be careful not to accidentally select the radio instead. Then, press the "Source" button in the upper right corner to switch to Bluetooth audio mode. At this point, turn on your phone's Bluetooth and refresh the device list. When you see "AUDI MMI xxxx," click to pair, and confirm that the 4-digit verification code on the screen matches. Once connected, you can use the scroll wheel on the right side of the steering wheel to switch tracks, while the volume controls are on the left. If the connection drops, don't panic—just go to the MMI settings, delete the old device, and search again. It's usually a caching issue with the car's system. Also, remember to check that the media source is set to Bluetooth before playing music each time, as this step is often overlooked.
