Insert the mechanical key directly into the door keyhole. There is a hidden keyhole in the center console or under the cup holder. Insert the remote key into it. Turn the door lock cylinder clockwise a small half-turn to smoothly open the door. Conversely, turn it counterclockwise a small half-turn to lock the door. Locate the keyhole near the steering wheel, insert the mechanical key, and depress the brake pedal. The steering wheel lock will then release, and the main brake will automatically disengage. When the remote key battery is dead, place the remote key against the start button to use the one-touch start function.
