How to Use Air Conditioning When Driving in Summer?

Before turning on the air conditioning when the car interior is hot, first open the windows for ventilation. Try to direct the air conditioning vents upward. Use the recirculation mode for about half an hour until the temperature stabilizes, then switch to fresh air mode to allow fresh oxygen to enter.
In summer when driving with air conditioning, I usually open all the car doors for a few minutes before getting in to let the hot air escape, which helps cool down the interior faster. Then I start the car, press the A/C button to activate the compressor, and set the temperature knob to around 22 to 24 degrees—avoid setting it too low to save fuel and prevent catching a cold. If the car has automatic climate control, simply pressing AUTO lets it adjust fan speed and temperature automatically. For manual systems, I adjust the vents based on the sun's position, directing airflow toward the legs or dashboard rather than straight at the face for comfort. Once the car cools down, switching to recirculation mode helps maintain cool air, but I briefly turn on fresh air mode every half hour to ventilate. Also, remember to clean or replace the cabin air filter every six months to prevent musty odors and dust, ensuring fresh and healthy air for comfortable long drives.
