First, without pressing the brake, press the start button. At this point, the ACC light will illuminate. Press the button again, and the vehicle will begin its self-check. Press the brake and then the start button to ignite the engine; release the foot brake, and you can choose to warm up the car while stationary. Press the foot brake again, shift into D gear, and release the handbrake; release the foot brake, press the accelerator, and you can start driving normally.
I've been driving a keyless start car for several years, and this system is simply a blessing for lazy people. Usually, I just keep the key in my pocket when going out without needing to take it out and search for it. After sitting in the car, I first press the brake pedal firmly, then find the button with the engine icon near the steering wheel, and with a gentle press, the engine starts. The whole process is super smooth, eliminating the hassle of inserting and twisting a key. However, sometimes when the key battery is running low, the system might not be responsive. I've encountered situations where it wouldn't start, and then I had to place the key near the start button for emergency starting or find the backup slot in the glove compartment to place it in. It's recommended to change the key battery every six months as a preventive measure. This design is especially practical in winter or rainy days, avoiding the need to fumble with a wet keyhole. Of course, the anti-theft function must be ensured; if the key is left in the car, the system will warn to prevent theft risks. Overall, it enhances daily driving efficiency, making both long and short trips feel much more convenient.
