How to use a car defroster: First, start the car and press the rear window defroster switch. The defroster will automatically turn off after 10 to 15 minutes. Once visibility is clear, you can manually turn off the defroster. Remember not to use it for too long to prevent the rear windshield from cracking. The defroster switch is the first knob on the left side of the air conditioner. Press the upper part for front windshield defrosting and the lower part for rear windshield defrosting, with indicators showing. There are three defrosting methods: the car's heating system defrosting, electric heating glass with resistance wires for defrosting, and using car anti-fog sprays or anti-fog films. The defroster system consists of the defroster body and a flushing system, specifically including a secondary defroster body, flushing water pipes, nozzles, support frames, support beams, and related connecting, fixing, and sealing components.
I always dread window fogging when driving, especially during winter school runs. Defogging is actually quite simple: when you see fog on the windshield, just press the front defroster button—the one with a fan shape and wavy lines—and the fan speed will automatically increase. Remember to turn off recirculation to allow airflow and set the temperature around 22°C for optimal results. If you have rear window heating, don’t forget to press the square button with wavy lines, and turn it off after the fog clears to save power. When the car is crowded, fogging is more likely, so cracking the windows slightly beforehand for ventilation helps.
