How to Use a Camry Dash Cam?

First, before installing the dash cam, be sure to read the instruction manual carefully. It will not obstruct the driver's view at all. Adjust the dash cam's viewing range, align the lens forward, and position the car hood at the bottom of the frame.
When I first started using the Camry dash cam, I began with the basics. The dash cam automatically powers on and starts recording when the car is started, and the indicator light turns on to show it's operating. If you want to manually operate it, you can press the recording button to start or pause the recording. The settings menu is usually accessed via a small button on the side of the dash cam—I used it to set the time and resolution, and I recommend choosing 1080p HD mode to clearly see license plates. If you want to review footage after parking, simply remove the SD card and insert it into a computer card reader for viewing, which is very convenient. Remember to regularly format the memory card to avoid running out of space and interrupting recordings. For safety, the dash cam monitors 24/7 and can provide evidence in case of an accident to protect yourself. Personally, I also keep a spare cigarette lighter adapter in the car in case of power issues.
