How to Upgrade from Automatic to Manual Transmission License?

An automatic transmission driver's license cannot be automatically upgraded to a manual transmission license. To upgrade from a C2 license to a C1 license, you must apply for an additional driving qualification. When applying, you need to fill out an application form and submit the following documents: 1. The applicant's identity proof; 2. A medical certificate issued by a county-level or military regiment-level medical institution; 3. The current motor vehicle driver's license.
I was quite nervous when I first learned to drive a manual transmission, but it felt amazing once I got the hang of it! The key lies in clutch control: before starting, make sure to press the clutch pedal all the way down, then slowly release the clutch while gently applying the throttle to find the sweet spot of clutch-throttle coordination. Don't rush, or you might stall. Once the car is moving, shift gears when the tachometer reaches around 2000 RPM—release the throttle, press the clutch, quickly shift gears, slowly release the clutch, and then apply throttle. Starting is the hardest part; I recommend practicing in an empty parking lot until you're proficient. Use lower gears for turns and uphill climbs, and don't forget to shift to neutral and turn off the engine when parking. Driving a manual gives you a better feel for the car's behavior and is more fuel-efficient. Beginners should take their time to get used to the weight of the clutch pedal.
