How to Upgrade Careland Car Navigation System by Yourself?

Download the navigation port modification tool luchang_diy and open it, then connect the navigation SD card to the computer. luchang_diy will display the original navigation information. Note down the data of the high-definition port for backup. To prevent upgrade failure, Open the downloaded Careland car navigation main program, and as above, open it step by step, then modify the data in the high-definition port to the data noted earlier. Open the downloaded map package and copy the files inside to the Navione folder of the main program that has just been modified with the high-definition port.
I've upgraded my KLD navigation system several times by myself and found it quite convenient. The basic steps are: first, visit the KLD official website to download the latest map package for your specific car model and navigation system version, which is usually free; prepare a USB flash drive formatted to FAT32 and copy the complete upgrade files onto it; then, plug the USB drive into the car's USB port, and the navigation system will automatically detect and start the upgrade—make sure not to open the car door or turn off the engine during installation to avoid data corruption. The whole process takes about 15 minutes, and after the upgrade, the maps are more accurate, especially with new road conditions, making trips safer and more worry-free. I recommend checking your navigation version first—the official website has detailed tutorials, and if you're unsure, watch some video guides. This way, you save money on dealership visits and pick up a handy skill.
