Open the engine hood to locate the engine oil filler port, then use pliers or a specialized tool to open it; 3. Unscrew the oil pan drain plug to release the engine oil, thereby relieving the pressure inside the oil tank. After that, the oil cap can be unscrewed; 4. Gently tap around the cap with a small hammer, apply an ice pack wrapped in a towel to the oil cap, and then twist while lightly hitting the cap to open it.
