How to Turn on the High Beam on a Mercedes-Benz GLE?

The high beam switch for Mercedes-Benz is located below the steering wheel, with the left lever serving as the light control lever. By rotating the left knob once, you can turn on the parking lights; rotating it twice activates the low beams. To turn on the high beams, simply pull the light control lever backward once.
I've been driving a Mercedes-Benz GLE for several years, and turning on the high beams is actually quite simple. The control stalk on the left side of the steering wheel: push it forward to turn on the high beams (they stay on continuously), pull it back to turn them off. Pulling it backward briefly activates the flash-to-pass feature for temporary illumination during overtaking. However, the Mercedes-Benz GLE has an automatic headlight system - if properly configured, the high beams may activate automatically. But for manual operation, always ensure the light switch is in the correct position: either rotate to AUTO mode or manually turn on the headlights before pushing the control stalk. Safety reminder: never use high beams in urban areas or when facing oncoming traffic, as it can dazzle other drivers and cause accidents - this is a small lesson I've learned from personal experience.
