How to Turn on the High Beam of Ford Focus?

Ford Focus high beam is turned on by: locating the control switch on the lever at the lower left of the steering wheel, pushing the lever forward to activate the high beam, and pushing it forward again or pulling it toward you to deactivate. The Ford Focus is a compact car with dimensions of 4647mm in length, 1810mm in width, and 1468mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2705mm. It is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine delivering a maximum power of 90 kW and a peak torque of 153 Nm. The front suspension utilizes a MacPherson strut independent suspension, while the rear employs a torsion beam non-independent suspension.
I've been driving a Ford Focus for several years and often use the high beams when driving on rural roads at night. The operation is quite simple: sit in the driver's seat, and on the left side of the steering wheel, there's a light control stalk. First, turn it to the "headlight" position to activate the low beams, then gently push the stalk forward until you hear a "click" to switch to high beams. Some models may require pressing a button on the top of the stalk. Remember not to keep them on in city streets, as it can dazzle other drivers and is very dangerous. If the stalk doesn't respond, check if the light switch is locked or if other lights in the car are functioning normally. A burnt-out bulb or a blown fuse can also cause the lights not to work, so it's recommended to check your lights regularly—safety first. Always pay attention to road conditions and use high beams only when appropriate.
