How to turn on the high beam of Citroen C5?

There is a lever on the lower left side of the steering wheel with multiple functions. Rotate it to the corresponding icon to activate the desired function. The high beam is not activated by rotation, but by pushing the lever forward. High beams should only be used when there are no other lighting facilities on the road and no oncoming vehicles.
I also spent some time studying my brother's C5 before. To turn on the high beams, you need to operate the left-hand stalk on the steering wheel. First, you must rotate the main light switch - that rotary knob below the left side of the steering wheel - to the low beam position. Then grab that long stalk and push it firmly forward toward the steering wheel (remember to push it all the way) until a blue high beam indicator appears on the instrument cluster. Turning it off is even simpler - just gently pull the stalk back toward your chest and it will automatically return. This car also has a convenient feature: to alert oncoming traffic at night, briefly pull the stalk toward yourself to flash the lights, and it will spring back to position automatically.
