How to Turn on the High Beam of Changan Yuexiang?

Enter the car and locate the light control lever. Adjust the left knob to the middle position for the parking light. Adjust the left knob to the upper position for the vehicle's low beam. Push the light lever forward for the high beam, and pull it backward for a single high beam flash.
When I first drove the Changan Alsvin, it took some time to get familiar with the headlight operation. Activating the high beams is actually quite intuitive: First, rotate the round switch on the left side of the steering wheel to the low beam position to turn on the headlights—don’t skip this step, as going straight to high beams might cause a flashing error. Second, gently push the turn signal lever below forward until you hear a soft ‘click,’ indicating the high beams are engaged (a blue icon usually appears on the dashboard). Remember, on highways or dark roads, they illuminate over 50 meters ahead, boosting safety, but never use them when facing oncoming traffic—it’s both impolite and risky. In city driving, I minimize high beam usage to save power, cultivating a habit of timely switching for more courteous driving. Also, I recommend regularly cleaning the lens covers to prevent dust buildup from affecting light output.
