How to turn on the high beam of Audi A4L?

If the headlight control switch is in the AUTO position, the headlights will automatically turn on when the ambient light is dim. When manual operation of the lights is required for the Audi A4L, first turn the light control knob on the instrument panel to the headlight position, at which point the low beam headlights will be activated.
I recently drove my Audi A4L on a night trip and finally learned how to use the high beams. It mainly relies on the lever on the left side of the steering wheel: first, make sure the headlights are on (e.g., set to low beam or auto mode), then gently push the lever forward to activate the high beams; pull it back to switch back to low beams. However, be careful not to use high beams in urban areas or when facing oncoming traffic, as they are too bright and can dazzle others. I recommend practicing the operation on quiet roads first to get familiar with the feel. Also, check your headlight settings—some Audi A4L models support automatic high beams, but you need to enable this feature in the car’s menu, otherwise it might not respond. With a bit more practice, it’ll become second nature—just remember, safety first, so stay focused!
