How to Turn on the High Beam Lights of the Honda Vezel?

Honda Vezel's high beam light activation method: When the low beam is on, push the light control lever upward to turn on the high beam. The light control lever is located on the left side of the steering wheel, with a knob at the front end. It has two positions: turning it once activates the parking lights, and turning it again activates the low beam. The Honda Vezel comes standard with ABS, EBD, BA, ASR, ESP, front and side airbags, rear child seat anchors, and a driving assistance system that includes auto hold, hill start assist, and rearview camera. In terms of suspension, the Vezel features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension.
I recently drove the Vezel back to my hometown, and it was a long night journey where I finally learned how to operate the high beams properly. First, start the vehicle and ensure the headlight switch is turned on—usually a knob or button on the dashboard. Then, hold the control lever on the left side of the steering wheel and gently push it forward. A blue indicator will appear on the instrument panel, signaling that the high beams are activated. To switch back to low beams, simply push the lever back to its original position or pull it backward. From my experience, using high beams on empty highways improves visibility significantly, but it’s crucial to turn them off promptly when there’s oncoming traffic or in crowded urban areas to avoid dazzling other drivers and potential conflicts.
