To turn on the heater in BYD Song Pro, first locate the air conditioning button and press the switch. Then rotate the round knob on the right side to increase the temperature, and the air blown out will be warm. Select the desired temperature to switch between cooling and heating effects of the air conditioning. Below is some relevant information about the BYD Song Pro: The BYD Song Pro is the first to adopt a golden compartment + wraparound interior design, creating an ultra-sensory intelligent driving seat that gives the driver an exclusive space. The center console is tilted 7° towards the driver's side, achieving the most reasonable design angle for easy use and effective prevention of glare, without affecting the use by the front passenger.

The worst part of driving in winter is freezing hands and feet. My experience with the BYD Song Pro is to start the car first and let the engine run for a while until the water temperature rises. Then press the AUTO button on the center console, and the air conditioning system will start working. Simply rotate the temperature knob to above 24°C, and you'll feel the warm air blowing out. If you can't wait for the hot air, press the front windshield defrost button, and the airflow direction will automatically adjust to the front windshield and footwell. By the way, don’t foolishly press the AC button—that’s for cooling and completely unnecessary when heating. I’ve tried setting the temperature to 26°C while driving, and the car becomes comfortably warm in 20 minutes without even needing seat heating. It’s best to set the fan speed to level 2 to avoid excessive dryness from prolonged maximum airflow.

What Causes Oil Spray from the Exhaust Pipe?

It is normal for a diesel engine's exhaust pipe to have slight oil spray or a small amount of oil at the outlet. However, severe oil dripping from the exhaust pipe is abnormal. The exhaust pipe is usually connected to the crankcase or valve cover. Possible reasons include: 1. The crankcase ventilation valve is aging, or there is a malfunction in the piston, cylinder liner, piston pin, or piston rings, leading to a loss of sealing effect and causing oil spray. 2. Severe wear between the valve stem and valve guide creates excessive clearance, resulting in oil leakage downward. 3. The design itself has defects, leading to oil spray from the exhaust pipe.

What is the suitable tire pressure for winter?

Each vehicle has different tire pressure requirements. In summer, the recommended tire pressure generally ranges between 2.2 to 2.4 kilopascals. Additionally, factors such as season, load, and whether the tires are cold or hot can also have an impact. 1. Excessive tire pressure reduces the contact area between the tire and the ground, increasing the pressure per unit area and accelerating wear. This can easily lead to loss of braking control, and encountering road protrusions or depressions may cause tire blowouts, damaging the vehicle's suspension system and causing discomfort to passengers. 2. Tire pressure should not be too low either. Insufficient tire pressure increases the contact area between the tire and the ground, causing abnormal temperature rise inside the tire during driving, increasing fuel consumption, and shortening the tire's lifespan.

Why is the fuel consumption of the new Roewe i5 so high?

The high fuel consumption of the new Roewe i5 is due to the break-in period, poor driving habits, and some objective factors. The specific reasons are as follows: 1. Break-in period: New cars are in the break-in period, where various components need to adjust and coordinate with each other. After this period, fuel consumption will decrease to some extent. 2. Poor driving habits: Some drivers prefer aggressive driving, such as revving the engine and sudden braking, which can increase fuel consumption even for fuel-efficient new cars and may also damage the vehicle, making it not worth the cost. 3. Objective factors: For example, prolonged idling and braking in traffic jams can significantly increase fuel consumption due to frequent stops and starts.
