Civic's method of turning on the heater: The Civic is equipped with an automatic temperature control air conditioning system. To turn on the heater, simply rotate the air conditioning temperature control knob to the red area. When the heater is on, the AC button should be turned off. Pressing the AC button activates the air conditioning compressor, which is the cooling switch for the air conditioner, and is not needed when the heater is on. The Civic is a model under Dongfeng Honda, with body dimensions of 4649mm in length, 1800mm in width, and 1416mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2700mm. In terms of appearance, the Civic features a stylish and sleek design with smooth body lines, and its hatchback appearance has undergone significant changes compared to the older models.

When I first bought my Civic, I was also unclear about how to turn on the heater. Later, I figured it out through trial and error. First, start the car and let the engine run for a while until the water temperature rises, as only then will you get warm air. Then, locate the temperature adjustment knob on the dashboard and turn it towards the red color, which activates the heating mode. Next, press the fan button or turn the knob to increase the airflow—I prefer starting low and gradually increasing it. If you want to warm up the car quickly, direct the airflow towards the feet or the windshield to prevent fogging. This method is very convenient in winter, and turning on the recirculation mode helps retain heat better. If the air conditioning doesn’t respond, it might be because the engine hasn’t reached the required temperature yet—just wait a bit. Remember not to adjust it randomly to avoid wasting fuel. Overall, the operation is simple, and you’ll get the hang of it after a few tries.

After starting the Civic, I quickly get warm air: when the water temperature reaches halfway, turn the temperature knob to the highest setting, press the fan button to select the wind speed. It's recommended to direct the airflow to the feet for faster heating. Check the recirculation button; using the internal circulation helps retain heat better. Sometimes, even with the fan on high, the temperature isn't warm enough—just wait a few more minutes for the engine to run longer, as the warm air relies on engine heat. This setup is both safe and comfortable, especially in freezing weather to prevent icing. Additionally, don't forget to adjust the air conditioning panel buttons; the right direction enhances defogging. This method is hassle-free for daily use.

I'm used to driving a Civic. When turning on the heater, I start the engine and wait a few minutes for the coolant temperature to rise, then turn the temperature knob to the red zone and turn on the fan. Set the airflow direction towards the feet or windshield to prevent fogging. As long as the AC mode is functioning properly, there won't be any issues.

What is the difference between 20t and 2.0t?

The difference between 20t and 2.0t lies in the displacement, as well as the turbo size and turbo pressure. Turbocharging Technology: Turbocharging technology was initially applied to aircraft engines to address the issue of insufficient air intake at high altitudes. Later, this technology was adapted for use in diesel engines. Maintenance and Upkeep: The 20t engine is more fuel-efficient than the 2.0t engine, and its maintenance costs are also slightly lower. When choosing a turbocharged engine model, it's important to select an appropriate displacement rather than pursuing excessively large displacements.

What is the lifespan of halogen headlights?

The lifespan of halogen headlights is generally around 2,500 hours. Here is some relevant information about halogen headlights: 1. Definition: Halogen bulbs, also known as halogen lamps or tungsten halogen bulbs, quartz bulbs, are a variant of incandescent lamps. Halogen lights generally have lower brightness; for example, a 55W halogen bulb typically produces just over 1,000 lumens. 2. Working Principle: They operate based on the principle of thermal radiation and incandescence—simply put, when sufficient current passes through the filament, it heats up to incandescence and emits light. However, the lifespan of such incandescent lamps is relatively very short.

Can a gas cylinder be placed inside a car?

Gas cylinders should not be placed inside a car. Hazards of placing gas cylinders in a car: During driving, the car may experience bumps. If the cylinder itself has quality issues, such as thin walls, it can easily be damaged during transportation, and impacts may cause explosions. Precautions for gas cylinders: According to regulations, any vehicle transporting hazardous materials must have a transportation permit issued by the heavy chemical department. Drivers must also undergo training and obtain certification, and there must be a certified escort during transportation. However, some operators have weak safety awareness and prioritize profit, reflecting poor management at liquefied petroleum gas filling stations.

Will Not Wearing a Seatbelt Be Captured by Cameras?

Not wearing a seatbelt will be captured by cameras. The protective functions of seatbelts: Prevent drivers and passengers from being thrown out of the vehicle; counteract the deceleration during a collision, ensuring that drivers and passengers do not experience a secondary impact with objects such as the steering wheel, dashboard, or windshield. Precautions for correctly wearing a seatbelt: The lap belt should be fastened snugly across the hips, just below the pelvic bones, in contact with the femur. During a collision, the force is distributed to the pelvic bones, avoiding severe injuries caused by the belt tightening around the abdomen. The shoulder belt should cross over the shoulder and chest. These areas of the human body can effectively withstand the restraining force of the seatbelt.
