05 The heated mirror function shares the same button as the rear windshield defroster, located as the second button on the left front side of the gear lever. Simply press this button to activate the heated mirror function. It's important to note that during heavy rainfall, the heating effect on the mirrors may be reduced and not very noticeable. There are two common designs for the heated mirror control switch: one is integrated into the electric mirror adjustment switch cluster, and the other is located on the air conditioning control panel. Regardless of the design, their function is the same. After pressing the button, the heating elements behind the mirror glass will quickly warm up to a set temperature (typically between 35-60°C) within minutes. Steam may be visible from both side mirrors, and as the temperature rises, water droplets on the mirror surface will gradually evaporate and shrink, while fog will slowly dissipate. This achieves the effect of heating the mirrors to remove fog and frost.

I know all about the Lynk & Co mirror heating function! Figured it out last rainy day: no need to hunt for a dedicated button because the mirror heating is linked with rear defogger. See that square button with wavy lines in the climate control panel? The one with a rectangular glass and heat waves illustration. Press it during foggy conditions, and both rear windshield and side mirrors will heat up simultaneously. Glance at your mirrors after activation - water droplets vanish from the glass surface in under three minutes. Remember the system auto-shuts after 15 minutes by default, which suffices for short trips. Honestly, this feature is an absolute lifesaver during rain or snow.

The design of Lynk & Co is quite ingenious, and I specifically studied it when driving the 03+. Its rearview mirror heating doesn't have a separate button but is integrated with the rear window defrost function. Look for the rectangular button with a heat flow mark (usually labeled REAR) at the bottom right of the central air conditioning panel—the yellow light indicates it's activated. Two reminders: first, it only works after the engine is started; second, the effect diminishes at sub-zero temperatures. One day, I deliberately compared: at 5°C outside, defogging took only 2 minutes, but at -10°C, it took 5 minutes.

3 steps to activate: After starting the vehicle, check the center console. Locate the square physical button or touch icon with a heat wave symbol (usually at the lower right corner of the AC panel) and press it – the indicator light will illuminate when activated. When the rear window heating filaments are working, the heating elements in the side mirrors will operate simultaneously. Practical tests show it clears fog three times faster than manual wiping. PS: New Lynk & Co models can now activate this function via the AC settings page on the infotainment screen or simply by voice command. Tested it yesterday in my apartment's underground garage – just say "Activate rear defroster" without even touching the physical button.
