How to Turn On the Headlights of a Cruze?

On the lower left side of the steering wheel, below the air vent, there is a knob. Turn it to the right twice to turn on the headlights. Below are the methods for adjusting the headlight height: 1. Vehicles equipped with headlight height adjustment controls allow for manual adjustment of the headlight beam height. 2. For vehicles with manual headlight height adjustment: The control is located on the exterior light controller device to the left of the steering wheel. Rotate the adjustment dial to change the headlight height. 3. Automatic headlight height adjustment: The system adjusts based on the vehicle's self-sensing mechanism.
Well, the headlight switch on my eight-year-old Cruze is right on the stalk to the left of the steering wheel. You can see it as soon as you sit in the driver's seat—there are two rotary positions on the tip of the stalk: turn to the first position for parking lights (a small yellow icon lights up on the dashboard), and the next position turns on the low beams. Switching to high beams is easy—just turn on the low beams first, then push the entire stalk all the way toward the front of the car. If you want to flash the high beams to alert the car ahead, just pull the stalk and release it. I remember one rainy day when I forgot to turn on the fog lights, and the car behind almost rear-ended me—now I’ve made it a habit to check the dashboard: a green icon means low beams, and a blue icon means high beams. Some higher trims have automatic headlights with an 'AUTO' marking on the dial—just set it to that position and forget about it, but I still feel more at ease with manual control.
