How to Turn on the Ford Escort Fog Lights?

Ford Escort fog lights can be turned on by pressing the fog light button, which is located below the left side of the steering wheel. The left button controls the front fog lights, and the right button controls the rear fog lights. Fog lights are divided into front and rear fog lights. Front fog lights are usually yellow, while rear fog lights are red. The differences between the front and rear fog light symbols are: 1. The front fog light symbol has downward-facing light beams; 2. The rear fog light symbol has parallel light beams, usually located on the dashboard inside the car. Due to their high brightness and strong penetration, fog lights do not cause diffuse reflection from fog. Proper use of fog lights can effectively prevent accidents. The Ford Escort is a car launched by Changan Ford, maintaining the overall design of the current model with upgraded configurations and compliance with China VI emission standards.
As a long-time owner of the Ford Escort, I often use the fog lights in rainy conditions. You simply need to locate the light control stalk on the left side of the steering wheel, which has a rotatable knob at its tip. First, turn the knob to the position for parking lights or headlights, then look for a pull ring with a fog light symbol at the base of the knob. Gently pull it out once to turn on the front fog lights, and a second time for the rear fog lights. To turn them off, just push it back in. Remember, the rear fog lights can only be activated when the low beams are on, otherwise the pull ring will get stuck. They're really useful for improving visibility in foggy conditions, but avoid using them unnecessarily as the yellow light is quite glaring and can dazzle drivers behind you, making it hard for them to see the road.
