Geely Boyue fog light activation method: The fog light switch is located on the left side of the vehicle's light control lever. Open the car door to see the fog light gear control lever. The prerequisite for turning on the fog lights is to turn on the width lights or headlights. Fog lights generally refer to car fog lights, which are installed on the front and rear of the car for road lighting and safety warnings in rainy and foggy weather. The Geely Boyue has a length, width, and height of 4519mm, 1831mm, and 1694mm respectively, a wheelbase of 2670mm, a body type of 5-door 5-seat SUV, equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 1.8T L4 engine.

When I first bought my car, I also had to figure it out. Turning on the fog lights of the Geely Boyue is quite simple. First, make sure the key is powered on and the car is in the started state. Then, operate the light control lever on the left side of the steering wheel. First, twist the lever to turn on the low beam or parking lights—don’t directly try to turn on the fog lights, as they might not respond. Next, there’s a trigger-like part on the inner side of the lever; pull it toward you or push it forward. Usually, pulling it once turns on the front fog lights, and pulling it again turns on the rear fog lights. The dashboard will display an icon to indicate they’re on. Remember to use them only in foggy conditions, heavy rain, or poor visibility. Avoid keeping them on regularly to prevent blinding oncoming drivers and compromising safety. I’ve also noticed that sometimes the fog lights don’t turn on even when activated—this could be due to a burnt-out bulb or wiring issues, so it’s best to get it checked at a 4S shop. During regular maintenance, test the fog lights to ensure they’re functioning properly. Keeping them in good condition is crucial for driving safety, as they can truly be lifesavers in severe weather.
