The method to turn on the fog lights of the New Excelle: The fog lights can only be activated when the parking lights or headlights are turned on. The New Excelle does not come with front fog lights across all trims, only rear fog lights are available. Fog lights are installed at the front and rear of the vehicle. Due to low visibility in foggy conditions, which limits the driver's line of sight, these lights can increase the visibility distance. Particularly, the yellow anti-fog lights have strong light penetration, enhancing the visibility for both the driver and other traffic participants, allowing oncoming vehicles and pedestrians to spot each other from a greater distance. The New Excelle is a compact sedan launched by Buick, with dimensions of 4609mm in length, 1798mm in width, 1486mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2640mm. The New Excelle features a more prominent sense of fashion, with very muscular body lines. The front fascia adopts a large-area grille, complemented by chrome trim strips for decoration. The headlights are connected to the grille, further highlighting the sporty temperament of this vehicle.

I just researched this car a couple of days ago. Locate the light stalk on the left side of the steering wheel - there's a round rotary knob on its side. Twist it toward the instrument panel in two stages: first turn activates front fog lights (marked with a curved arrow symbol), second turn activates rear fog lights (three horizontal lines with curved arrow). During daytime the dashboard might not display fog light icons, but they'll pop up automatically when low beams turn on at dusk. Using fog lights in rain does improve safety as they have much better penetration than regular headlights, but remember to turn them off when visibility clears - those bright red rear fog lights can dazzle drivers behind you. This operation is way more convenient than older models that required separate dashboard button presses.

How many years can a car battery with auto start-stop generally last?

Under normal circumstances, the service life of an auto start-stop battery is around 3-4 years. If it exceeds this period, it is necessary to frequently check the battery's working condition. Symptoms of a damaged car battery are as follows: 1. Starting: The most noticeable phenomenon is the feedback when starting the car. If starting is very difficult, it is largely due to battery aging. However, there are many other factors that can cause starting difficulties, such as severe carbon deposits and abnormal spark plugs, so it is necessary to consider other conditions. 2. Horn: If the car is difficult to start and the horn is not as loud as before, it is likely that the battery has aged and needs to be replaced in time. Moreover, the car's headlights will also be affected to some extent, causing the lights to dim. 3. Battery warning light: Another symptom is the battery warning light, which is the most intuitive indicator. This warning light specifically reflects whether there is a problem with the battery. When the battery warning light comes on, it indicates an abnormality, and it is necessary to promptly go to a car repair shop for inspection.

How Long is the Warranty for a Car Brake Wheel Cylinder?

Under normal usage conditions, the brake wheel cylinder in a car does not typically fail. Most instances of brake wheel cylinder damage occur due to aging after prolonged use of the vehicle. Here is some relevant information: 1. Brake Wheel Cylinder: The brake wheel cylinder is a component of the car's braking system. Its primary function is to push the brake shoes against the brake drum, creating friction that slows down or stops the vehicle. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the master cylinder generates force to push hydraulic fluid into the wheel cylinder, which then activates the brake shoes. 2. Types of Brakes: Car brakes are categorized into air brakes and hydraulic brakes. Air brakes consist of an air compressor, air reservoir, master cylinder, quick-release valve, and actuator wheels, among other components. Hydraulic brakes, on the other hand, are composed of a master cylinder and brake lines. They operate by delivering brake fluid from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders, causing the brake discs and pads to create friction and achieve braking effect.

What are the differences between the RAV4 Plus and the standard version?

The differences between the RAV4 Plus and the standard version lie in the interior configurations, the four-wheel-drive systems, and the pricing. In terms of configuration, the RAV4 Plus adds features such as leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather gearshift skirt, leather door panels, and front seat heating compared to the standard version. The standard RAV4 comes with seatbelt reminder, engine immobilizer, and central locking system, while the RAV4 Plus is equipped with a front keyless entry system, vehicle stability control, a multifunction steering wheel, and a 360-degree panoramic camera. The RAV4 Plus uses a DTV (Dynamic Torque Vectoring) four-wheel-drive system, whereas the standard version employs a DTC (Dynamic Torque Control) four-wheel-drive system. The DTC system in the standard RAV4 enhances wheel traction, making it suitable for slippery road conditions. The DTV system in the Plus version builds upon the DTC by adding the capability to distribute all torque to either the left or right rear wheel, providing mild off-road capabilities. There is also a price difference between the RAV4 Plus and the standard version. The Plus version is considered an upgraded model and is slightly more expensive, but both vehicles offer value for money relative to their respective prices.

How to Adjust the Rearview Mirror for Parallel Parking in Subject 2?

Methods for adjusting rearview mirrors during parallel parking in Subject 2: 1. First, adjust the right rearview mirror so that the upper edge allows visibility of the rear door handle, while ensuring the front door handle is centered in the mirror (vertically), with the car body occupying one-fourth of the mirror's area. This provides a better view to the right. 2. Adjust the left rearview mirror with reference to the right one, but note that the left mirror has an additional function: during parallel parking, you need to see the left rear wheel, so you must ensure you can see the left rear wheel by leaning forward. 3. During parallel parking, sometimes there is no front line in the test area, only the base line of the parking space is visible. In such cases, you need to rely on the left rearview mirror. Parallel parking is a mandatory test item for obtaining a small car driver's license.
