The method to turn on the fog lights of the Lavida Plus is as follows: The switch is located on the combination rotary switch on the left side of the driver's seat. Turn the knob to the fog light position to activate them. In addition to the fog light switch, the combination rotary switch also includes switches for the low beam and width indicator lights. There is also a headlight beam adjustment device on the right side of the knob. The Lavida Plus is a compact sedan produced by SAIC Volkswagen. Its body dimensions are 4605mm in length, 1765mm in width, and 1460mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2688mm. The front suspension type is MacPherson independent suspension, the rear suspension type is torsion beam non-independent suspension, the steering assistance type is electric power steering, and the body structure is a load-bearing type.
I've been driving this Lavida Plus for over two years, and operating the fog lights is actually quite simple. The headlight switch is located on the left side of the steering wheel. First, turn the knob to the position for parking lights or headlights. Then pull the middle ring of the knob outward once to activate the front fog lights - a green fog symbol will appear on the instrument cluster. If visibility is extremely poor during rainy or foggy conditions, pull the ring outward once more to activate the rear fog lights (indicated by a yellow symbol), which significantly expands the illumination range. To turn off the fog lights, simply push the ring back in the opposite direction. Remember that fog lights are extremely bright - never use them in clear weather as they can dangerously dazzle oncoming traffic. Also, the switch is prone to water splashes during car washes, so it's advisable to regularly check its responsiveness.
