How to Turn on the Fog Lights in a Honda Car?
1 Answers
Honda car fog light switch is located on the turn signal control lever. There is a rotatable ring with a fog light icon (the front fog light is represented by three diagonal lines on the left with a wavy line above and a semicircle on the right), which is the fog light switch. Rotate it to this position to turn on the fog lights. Additional information: 1. In adverse weather conditions such as fog, snow, heavy rain, or in environments filled with smoke and dust, front fog lights must be used to illuminate the road ahead and ensure driving safety. In recent years, fog lights are often designed to be installed on the front bumper in terms of styling. 2. Fog light working principle: The filament of the light source is designed at the focal point of the reflector's parabolic surface. After being reflected by the reflector, it forms a beam parallel to the optical axis. The diffuser lens spreads and refracts the beam to form a wider horizontal beam, ensuring the light pattern and illumination meet regulatory requirements. The shade inside the front fog light is used to block the light emitted by the filament towards the upper part of the reflector, creating a clear cutoff line in the light distribution—dark above and bright below. The visible area at the upper edge of the light distribution should be as dark as possible, while the bright area below should have a horizontal diffusion angle of 50° on both sides, forming a left-right horizontal bright zone to provide good lighting conditions for safe driving without causing glare.
