How to Turn on the Focus Air Conditioning?
1 Answers
The air conditioning switch for the Focus is located in the center of the dashboard inside the cabin. Press the AC button to turn the air conditioning on or off. The knobs on either side of the Focus air control panel adjust the temperature—turning clockwise increases the temperature, while turning counterclockwise decreases it. The AUTO button on the left is the automatic control switch; when activated, it automatically adjusts the air conditioning temperature and fan speed based on data from inside and outside the vehicle. The fan controls the airflow intensity, and the AC switch activates the compressor, which is necessary for cooling in summer and defrosting the front windshield. The subsequent buttons control airflow to the feet, face, windshield, and the internal circulation mode. Use the internal circulation mode during smoggy or dusty weather. In winter, when there are many passengers in the car and the front windshield tends to fog up, switch to external circulation. The Focus is equipped with a 2.0GDI direct-injection engine paired with a PowerShift 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. In terms of dimensions, the Focus measures 4647mm in length, 1810mm in width, and 1468mm in height.
