How to Turn on the Car Air Conditioner for Heat?

To turn on the car air conditioner for heat, you need to start the car and let the engine run for a while. Wait until the water temperature rises to the normal level, then you can turn on the car's heater. Rotate the temperature control knob to the red zone and adjust the fan speed switch. Set the air circulation mode to internal circulation. Internal circulation can quickly warm up the car and also prevent outside polluted air from entering the car on smoggy days. When the air conditioner vents blow cold or hot air, adjust them correctly based on the principle that cold air sinks and hot air rises. When turning on the cold air, direct the vents upward. When turning on the heat, direct the vents downward. Precautions for using the heater: Do not blow hot air directly at your head, as prolonged exposure can cause fatigue and is unsafe. If you use the heater for an extended period, crack open a window slightly to allow air circulation, ensuring sufficient oxygen levels in the car to keep the driver alert. Do not sleep in the car with the heater on, as it can easily lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. You do not need to press the AC button when turning on the heater.
Last week I just taught my bestie how to turn on the heater. Remember to drive the car for 3-5 minutes first until the coolant temperature gauge rises. Don't press the AC button at this time - AC is for cooling. Rotate the temperature knob to the red zone, usually above 25°C will produce warm air. Push the fan speed button upwards, and it's recommended to use external circulation to prevent fogging. The front defroster function will automatically increase fan speed - just turn it off after the fog clears. Using the heater won't increase fuel consumption since it utilizes engine heat. But idling with the heater on too long might drain the battery. I used this feature to stay warm on my last long drive, though the air gets quite dry so remember to keep a water bottle handy.
