Press and hold the power button to turn it on or off. The most stable power source is the wiring connector near the wipers, which is more reliable than the cigarette lighter. The newer models can connect to your phone—just scan the QR code in the Audi app to link to the dash cam’s Wi-Fi and view videos directly, which is super convenient for capturing scenery during road trips. Always go for a German brand when buying a dash cam; off-brand ones can’t capture license plates clearly at night and are basically useless.
