When driving my Highlander, I simply press the round AUTO button on the center console after starting the engine - the illuminated light indicates the automatic climate control is activated. The system then automatically adjusts fan speed and temperature. I just need to rotate the left temperature knob, typically setting it to 22°C in summer and 20°C in winter for optimal comfort. If there are passengers in the rear, remember to press the REAR button to activate the rear AC. For long trips, turning on the air purification icon helps eliminate odors. To defog quickly, directly press the front windshield defogger button - especially effective during rainy days. When connected via Bluetooth, you can even use voice commands like 'Lower the temperature' for added convenience.

After starting the Highlander, I first press the AUTO button in the air conditioning control area. The illuminated indicator shows that it has entered automatic mode. Temperature adjustment is mainly done by rotating the silver knob next to the driver's seat, and it is recommended to keep it at 22-24 degrees for optimal energy efficiency. I generally let the system automatically control the fan speed, only manually pressing the fan speed + button when it's particularly hot. Pay attention to the internal/external circulation: use internal circulation in traffic jams to avoid exhaust fumes, and switch to external circulation on highways to refresh the air. Adjusting the vent angle to blow diagonally towards the feet is the most comfortable, as blowing directly at the face can easily cause dizziness.

Are Buses Manual or Automatic Transmission?

Buses are manual transmission. Here are the reasons: 1. High purchase cost: The price of automatic transmissions for commercial vehicles is very high. Domestically, there is basically no development of commercial automatic transmissions, which are mostly imported. The price of an imported commercial transmission can account for more than one-third of the price of a domestic commercial vehicle. Moreover, the domestic business environment aims to achieve high profits through overloaded transportation at the lowest cost. 2. High operating cost: Automatic transmissions rely on fluid to transfer energy, and since fluid is the medium for energy transfer, the consumption is higher. Correspondingly, fuel consumption is slightly higher. Manual transmissions rely on gears to transfer energy, and energy is lost in the friction between gears, so the consumption is lower. 3. Relatively low labor costs in China: Automatic transmissions can reduce driver fatigue. In developed countries, the cost of bus drivers is high, and the demand for work comfort is relatively higher. Automatic transmissions are one of the means for bus companies to retain drivers.
