Chevrolet Cruze Air Conditioning Activation Method: Press the AUTO button to automatically adjust air distribution and fan speed, with activation indicated by the LED light on the button. Press the A/C button to enable optimal cooling and defogging functions, with activation indicated by the LED light on the right knob; rotate the right knob to set the temperature. The recommended comfort setting is 22°C. When set to automatic mode, open all vents for optimal air distribution. Below is the cooling principle of the Cruze air conditioning system: 1. When the Chevrolet Cruze air conditioning compressor is operating, it inhales low-temperature, low-pressure gaseous refrigerant from the evaporator. After compression, the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant increase, and it is sent to the condenser. Inside the condenser, the high-temperature, high-pressure gaseous refrigerant transfers heat to the outside air passing through the condenser, causing it to liquefy into a liquid. As the liquid refrigerant flows through the throttling device, its temperature and pressure decrease, and it enters the evaporator. 2. In the evaporator, the low-temperature, low-pressure liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the cabin air passing through the evaporator and evaporates into a gas. The gas is then inhaled by the compressor for the next cycle. In this way, through the continuous circulation of the refrigerant within the system, heat from the cabin air is absorbed and expelled to the outside air, gradually lowering the temperature inside the Chevrolet Cruze.
