How to Turn on High Beam in an Automatic Transmission Car?

Generally, there is a set of light combination switches on the left side of the steering wheel. Rotating the combination switch forward one notch turns on the dashboard lights, and another notch turns on the low beam. After turning on the low beam, rotating it one more notch in the same direction will turn on the high beam.
I think turning on the high beams of an automatic transmission car is actually quite simple, especially if you're a seasoned driver with a few years of experience like me. With more experience, the operation becomes smoother. First, make sure the headlights are on, usually indicated by the low beam symbol on the dashboard. Then, locate the light control lever on the left side of the steering wheel—it's in a fixed position on most car models. Gently push the lever forward, and you'll hear a click. At this point, a blue icon will light up on the dashboard. Remember, high beams should only be used when there are no oncoming vehicles or pedestrians ahead, such as when driving long distances on suburban highways. Otherwise, you risk dazzling others, which is dangerous. I recommend that beginners practice more, trying it out on a safe night road. Once you're familiar with it, using high beams can help you see more of the road ahead, but don't overuse them—safety always comes first.
