How to Turn on Bluetooth in the 2012 GL8?

Turn on both your phone's Bluetooth and the car's Bluetooth (the car's Bluetooth is usually found in the reverse camera settings; simply click the Bluetooth icon on the main screen) and make sure they are in discoverable mode. On your phone's Bluetooth interface, click "Search for Devices." Your phone will then be able to detect the car's Bluetooth. Select the car's Bluetooth and click on it. Your phone will then prompt you to enter a pairing code. Enter the pairing code and simultaneously click "Pair" on the car's Bluetooth interface. If the pairing code is entered correctly, the car's Bluetooth will display "Connected." At this point, try making a call using the car's Bluetooth to test the connection. If successful, you should hear the call audio. On the car's Bluetooth interface, select the "Auto Connect" feature. As long as both your phone's Bluetooth and the car's Bluetooth are turned on and within a range of 10 meters, they will automatically connect.
Start the car, and the center console screen will light up after the engine ignites. Locate the buttons near the steering wheel or on the center console, press a few times to enter the menu options. There is usually a 'Settings' or 'Audio' menu; after opening it, look for the 'Bluetooth' option, typically a switch, and turn it on to enable it. Then, take out your phone, turn on Bluetooth, and search for a device with a name like 'GL8' to pair. Don't forget to enter the verification code or click confirm during pairing. Enabling Bluetooth has many benefits, such as hands-free calling or playing music while driving, but remember not to operate it while driving—safety first. The GL8's Bluetooth system is a bit outdated; cars from 2012 may have weak signals and occasional disconnections. It's recommended to set it up while parked to avoid distractions.
