How to Turn On and Off Cruise Control?
1 Answers
Cruise control can be turned on and off as follows: 1. Activate Cruise Control: Briefly press the cruise control button, and the corresponding indicator light on the instrument cluster will illuminate white. Increase the vehicle speed to the desired cruising speed (above 40 km/h), then briefly press the set/decelerate button. The corresponding white indicator light on the instrument cluster will turn green. Once the vehicle enters cruise control mode, release the accelerator pedal. 2. Deactivate Cruise Control: Press the brake pedal, shift the gear lever to N (neutral), briefly press the cruise control button (this will exit cruise control and clear the set cruising speed), operate the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) button, or if the ESP system is activated. 3. Resume Cruise Control: When the vehicle speed is above 40 km/h, briefly press the resume/accelerate button. The cruise control indicator light on the instrument cluster will change from white to green, and the vehicle will resume the previously set cruising speed. 4. Increase Cruising Speed: Briefly press the resume/accelerate button to increase the speed by 1.6 km/h per press. Alternatively, hold down the resume/accelerate button to continuously increase the speed until the button is released. Upon releasing the button, the vehicle will begin cruising at the current speed.
