Cruise control can be turned on and off as follows: 1. Activate Cruise Control: Briefly press the cruise control button, and the corresponding indicator light on the instrument cluster will illuminate white. Increase the vehicle speed to the desired cruising speed (above 40 km/h), then briefly press the set/decelerate button. The corresponding white indicator light on the instrument cluster will turn green. Once the vehicle enters cruise control mode, release the accelerator pedal. 2. Deactivate Cruise Control: Press the brake pedal, shift the gear lever to N (neutral), briefly press the cruise control button (this will exit cruise control and clear the set cruising speed), operate the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) button, or if the ESP system is activated. 3. Resume Cruise Control: When the vehicle speed is above 40 km/h, briefly press the resume/accelerate button. The cruise control indicator light on the instrument cluster will change from white to green, and the vehicle will resume the previously set cruising speed. 4. Increase Cruising Speed: Briefly press the resume/accelerate button to increase the speed by 1.6 km/h per press. Alternatively, hold down the resume/accelerate button to continuously increase the speed until the button is released. Upon releasing the button, the vehicle will begin cruising at the current speed.

Will Washing the Car Remove the Wax?

Washing the car will not remove the wax after application, but it is important to inform the detailing shop when the wax was applied, as only regular water is needed for washing after waxing. Applying solid wax protects the car's paint, preventing marks from rain or chemical substances like bird droppings, and also shields the body from minor scratches. The effect typically lasts for about a month. Car waxing is generally divided into manual waxing and mechanical waxing. Manual waxing is simple and easy to perform, while mechanical waxing is more efficient. Both methods require ensuring the wax is evenly applied on the paint surface. For manual waxing, start by applying an appropriate amount of car wax onto a sponge, then spread it in straight, overlapping strokes in sequence to avoid missing spots and ensure even coverage.

What are the symptoms of a bad car timing belt?

The symptoms of a bad car timing belt include: 1. Mild cases (with minor deviation) may result in reduced car power and difficulty accelerating uphill; 2. Severe cases may lead to no idle speed or severe engine shaking at idle, accompanied by explosive sounds from the exhaust pipe when accelerating, and occasional stalling with the explosive sounds; 3. Sudden unstable idle speed and easy stalling during driving, mainly characterized by unresponsive acceleration and lack of power. If this issue occurs and faults in throttle or other circuit components are ruled out, consider whether the timing is the problem; 4. The engine suddenly stalls while driving. If the starter rotates at a high speed when attempting to restart, with a feeling of no compression, it indicates a broken timing belt; 5. Unusual noises from the engine tensioner during acceleration or from the engine pulley area must be taken seriously.

What type of fuel should be used for the Jetta VS5?

Jetta VS5 uses 95 gasoline. The fuel cap of the Jetta VS5 is marked to indicate that it can be filled with 95, 92, 97, or 93 unleaded gasoline, with 95 being the recommended fuel. 95 gasoline consists of 95% isooctane and 3% n-heptane. When the engine compression ratio is high, high-octane gasoline should be used. If low-octane gasoline is used with a high compression ratio, it may cause abnormal combustion, leading to phenomena such as knocking, increased fuel consumption, and lack of power during driving. The Jetta VS5 is the first SUV model under the Jetta brand, equipped with an EA211 engine paired with an MQ250 manual transmission and an Aisin AQ250 six-speed automatic transmission. What are the mandatory insurances for small cars?

Small cars must purchase compulsory traffic insurance, which is officially known as Compulsory Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident Liability Insurance. This insurance is provided by insurance companies to compensate for personal injuries, deaths, and property losses (excluding the vehicle's occupants and the insured) caused by the insured motor vehicle in road traffic accidents, within the liability limits. Compulsory traffic insurance is China's first mandatory insurance system implemented by national law, with premiums uniformly regulated by the state. The main factor affecting the price of compulsory traffic insurance is the number of car seats. Both the Compulsory Motor Vehicle Third-Party Liability Insurance and the current Motor Vehicle Third-Party Liability Insurance are commercial insurances. The newly implemented compulsory traffic insurance premium rate is higher than that of the Motor Vehicle Third-Party Liability Insurance. The Third-Party Liability Insurance determines its compensation liability based on the insured's responsibility in the traffic accident.
