How to Turn Off the Rear Wiper on the Lynk & Co 06?

To activate the rear wiper, push the wiper lever forward or backward, which differs from the up-and-down operation of the front wiper switch. To turn off the rear wiper, push the lever forward or backward (i.e., pull it back one notch). This also allows you to control the intermittent operation of the rear wiper.
I've been driving the Lynk & Co 06 for almost two years now, and the rear wiper switch is quite cleverly hidden. Look at the stalk on the right side of the steering wheel that controls the front wipers - see that rotatable ring at the very end? If you look closely at the tip of the ring, there's a small button, that inconspicuous square. Hold it down for about two seconds to stop the rear wiper. If the rear window washer also activates, you'll need to go into the central display's 'Vehicle Settings', enter 'Settings' and find the 'Rear Wiper' option to turn off the linkage function. Nothing's worse than accidentally activating wipers during car washes - once I forgot to turn them off when lifting the blades, and the rubber strips got frayed when resetting them.
The rear wiper control on the Lynk & Co 06 can indeed be confusing. It took me quite a while to figure it out when I first got the car. The key lies in the right-hand control stalk: first ensure the front wiper isn't in the '0' position, then look at the top of the stalk - there's a small recessed button hidden at the base of the rotatable cap-shaped knob. Press it firmly with your thumb until you hear a 'click' and see the rear wiper icon disappear from the instrument cluster. Never operate it dry when the rear window heating elements are on - last time during freezing rain, I rushed to turn it on and ended up with several fine scratches. Still breaks my heart thinking about it.
