First, the rear wiper control switch of this car is located on the right side of the driver's steering wheel. Follow the instructions to toggle the switch: OFF means off, LOW is for low speed, HIGH is for high speed operation, and pushing inward controls the front wiper.

I've been commuting with my Audi Q2L for almost two years, and turning off the rear wiper is actually super simple. Just look at the control stalk on the right side of the steering wheel—there's a rotary ring with a rear window symbol. Twist it all the way down to the 'OFF' position. It's best to get into the habit of turning it off when driving in sunny weather, otherwise the rear wiper will keep swiping needlessly and wear out the rubber blade. That little rotary ring also has intermittent and continuous settings in the middle—just adjust them according to the rain intensity. If twisting it all the way down doesn't turn it off, the knob might be stuck or the motor could be faulty, in which case you'll need to visit the dealership to check the control module. You can easily operate it with one hand while driving without even taking your eyes off the road.

Just helped a friend with this issue last week. The rear wiper control is on the multi-function stalk to the right of the steering wheel - look for the outer ring knob with wavy lines. Rotate it clockwise to the end until you hear a click; that's the off position. Many beginners accidentally press the central washer button (marked with a spray symbol) which controls cleaning fluid - don't confuse it with the control ring. Always turn off rear wipers before car washes; last time I forgot and the automatic brushes bent the rubber blade. The design is actually quite intuitive - the knob has distinct detents and allows easy blind operation during night driving.

Last month, my sister picked up her Q2L, and I specifically taught her this operation: Look at the end of the control lever on the right side of the steering wheel, there's a rotatable plastic ring. Turn it clockwise to the bottom, and there won't be any prompt on the dashboard, but the rear wiper will stop immediately. If you want to temporarily turn it off during heavy rain, simply rotating it to the 'OFF' position is much more convenient than restarting the engine. Some owners mistakenly operate it because they touch this ring while using the front wipers, but these two systems are actually controlled separately. Remember to regularly check the condition of the rubber blades; worn blades may still slightly tremble even when turned off.
