First, press the selector switch for the left or right rearview mirror (as shown in the figure below) to choose the driver or passenger side mirror for adjustment. Press the arrow on the control panel to move each rearview mirror to the desired position. Then return the selector switch to the center position.

My Mazda6 Atenza has been running for over three years. Although the auto-folding mirror function is convenient, it often gets stuck by car wash machines. To disable it: After starting the engine, directly tap the center display, find the gear-shaped settings menu, enter vehicle settings, scroll to the mirror options, and toggle off the auto-folding switch. Note that mirrors won't move when locking the car after disabling this function. For manual folding, use the arrow-marked button in the driver's door control panel - one press retracts them. Pro tip: If you notice sluggish folding in winter, disable this feature in advance to prevent motor freeze and blown fuses.

Is training required for a 3-point deduction on a B license?

Training is required. Here are the relevant details: Introduction: If a B2 driver's license receives penalty points within a cycle, the holder must attend an annual review session at the vehicle management office within 30 days after the cycle ends. If no points are deducted during the cycle, no review is needed, and the license can be renewed upon expiration after a medical check-up. Circumstances leading to license revocation include: Driving under the influence of alcohol twice or more within one year; allowing someone without a valid driver's license or whose license is revoked or suspended to drive a vehicle; exceeding the speed limit by 50%; involvement in a major accident constituting a crime and subject to criminal liability; fleeing the scene of an accident; failure to report to the traffic management department within 15 days after the license is temporarily seized by the public security traffic management authorities without a valid reason; driving a modified vehicle or a vehicle that has reached the scrap standard on the road, among other situations, will result in license revocation.

Is Tire Pressure Related to Weather Temperature?

Temperature has a significant impact on tire pressure. After exposure to intense sunlight, tire pressure can become very high and requires driving to cool down. Prolonged high-speed driving also increases tire temperature. The higher the temperature, the lower the air pressure, compared to surrounding areas at the same altitude. This comparison is not made vertically, as in the vertical direction, temperatures and air pressure are higher near the ground and decrease with altitude. Excessive Tire Pressure: When tire pressure is too high—significantly above the standard pressure—it reduces tire friction and grip, affecting braking performance. This can cause steering wheel vibration, veering, and decreased driving comfort. Additionally, it accelerates wear on the central tread pattern, shortening tire lifespan, increasing vehicle vibration, and indirectly affecting the longevity of other components. Insufficient Tire Pressure: When tire pressure is too low—significantly below the standard pressure—it increases the friction coefficient between the tire and the road surface, leading to higher fuel consumption. It also makes the steering wheel heavy and prone to veering, posing safety risks. Insufficient tire pressure increases movement in various parts of the tire, causing excessive rolling and abnormal heat generation.

What is the BCM module in a car?

BCM mainly controls the electrical appliances on the car body, such as the whole vehicle lamps, wipers, washing, door locks, power windows, sunroof, power mirrors, etc. That is, the switch signals of these electrical appliances are input to the BCM, and the BCM directly or through the relay controls the corresponding electrical appliances to work. Nowadays, the functions of BCM are becoming more and more powerful, and more and more things are integrated. The functions of the body control module include: Power window and door control, central door lock control, remote anti-theft, lighting system control, power mirror heating control, instrument backlight adjustment, power distribution, etc. Introduction to Body Control Module (BCM): The Body Control Module (BCM) coordinates the interior of the vehicle through signals. They manage numerous vehicle functions, including door locks, alarm sound control, interior and exterior lighting, safety features, wipers, turn indicators, and power management. BCMs, which are bound to the vehicle's electronic architecture, provide maximized reliability and economy while reducing the number of required plug connections and cable harnesses.

Where is the hood release on a Volvo S60?

First, locate the hood release switch inside the cabin. The switch is marked with a symbol near the driver's left leg area. After pressing the switch, move to the front of the vehicle, reach under the hood to flip the safety latch, and the hood will fully open. Steps to open the hood: 1. Open the driver's side door of the S60. 2. Engage the parking brake (handbrake) to prevent vehicle movement. 3. Pull the hood release switch located on the left side of the driver's footwell. Locating the hood release: Facing the front of the vehicle, look for a small lever in the right-side gap of the partially opened hood. Pull it firmly to the left. Functions of the hood: • Airflow direction • Protection for the engine and surrounding components • Improved driver visibility • Safety precaution • Specialized platform for various uses

What are the differences between Volvo B4 and B5?

Differences between Volvo B4 and B5: Different engines: The biggest difference in power is the combination of a 2.0T engine with a 48V mild hybrid system, with the B5 matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Maximum horsepower and torque of B4 and B5: The B4 powertrain version has a maximum horsepower of 197Ps and a maximum torque of 300Nm; while the B5 version shares the same powertrain system as its bigger brother, the S90, with a maximum horsepower of 250Ps and a maximum torque of 350Nm, both matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Commonalities between Volvo B4 and B5: As mid-cycle facelift models, the entire lineup has discontinued the original T4 and T5 powertrain versions, replaced by the B4 and B5 powertrain versions with the addition of a 48V mild hybrid system. In terms of appearance, the new models are largely consistent with the current ones, maintaining that cool Nordic style.

Will a Tire Pressure of 2.9 Cause a Blowout?

A tire pressure of 2.9 bar will not cause a blowout. The maximum pressure a tire can generally withstand is around 3.5 bar. However, this value may vary depending on the brand. Usually, the maximum tire pressure the tire can bear can be found on the sidewall of the tire. Hazards of Overinflated Tires: Reduced friction and adhesion of the tire, affecting braking performance; Causes steering wheel vibration and misalignment, reducing driving comfort; Accelerates localized wear of the tread pattern in the center of the tire, shortening tire lifespan; Increases vehicle vibration, indirectly affecting the lifespan of other components; Excessive stretching deformation of tire cords, reducing tire elasticity and increasing the load on the vehicle during driving; Decreases puncture resistance. When encountering sharp objects like nails or glass on the road, they can easily penetrate the tire, causing internal cracks and blowouts. Methods for Low Tire Pressure: If no damage is visible, simply inflate to normal pressure and reset the tire pressure system; If inspection reveals a puncture, drive to a tire shop for repair and reinflation; If the tire pressure warning persists after inflation without any visible holes, it may be due to air leakage from a deformed wheel rim. It is recommended to inspect and replace the wheel rim.
