How to turn off the location tracking of BMW ConnectedDrive?

BMW's ConnectedDrive vehicle location system allows you to track your vehicle's position anytime through the mobile app to ensure the safety of your vehicle's property. As modern drivers travel increasingly longer distances, there is a greater need for external navigation tools to assist in finding the correct driving routes. Although most smartphones today can provide GPS navigation functionality, a car equipped with GPS navigation often conveys a sense of premium quality. It automatically recommends three route options: highway priority route, general priority route, and shortest path route, and marks them on the electronic map.
Last time during the maintenance at the 4S店, the technician taught me how to operate this: After getting in the car and starting the ignition, poke the central control screen to enter 'My Vehicle', select 'Settings → General Settings → Privacy Services', and uncheck the 'Vehicle Positioning' option. Remember to click confirm to save, otherwise the operation will be in vain. Friendly reminder, after turning off the positioning, the云端互联APP will not be able to check the car's location, and functions like remote ventilation will also be disabled. If you regret it later and want to turn the positioning back on, you'll need to go back to the 4S店 for a programming upgrade, which is quite troublesome. I suggest setting up a geofence in the APP as an alternative, such as automatically notifying when the car leaves the residential area, which both protects privacy and does not affect the main functions.
