How to Turn Off the Ideal Car?

Pull up the handbrake, shift into P gear, release the foot brake, and turn the car key counterclockwise to turn off the engine. For models equipped with a one-button start, simply press the one-button start button after releasing the foot brake. This will adjust the ignition switch position to the OFF position.
Turning off the engine is quite simple, and I do it frequently while driving, especially since many cars now come with keyless ignition systems. For instance, in some newer models, after coming to a complete stop, you press the brake, shift into P (Park), and then press the circular start/stop button—the engine shuts down, and the interior lights and screens gradually turn off. If the car doesn’t respond, it might be due to a dead battery or a system glitch, requiring a check of the fuses or a restart. After turning off the engine, remember to switch off the AC and headlights to save power and ensure safety. Whether it’s a gas or electric vehicle, the key is developing good habits: always confirm the engine is off when parked to avoid wasting fuel or damaging the engine. My neighbor once forgot to turn off the car, leaving it running in the garage all night—luckily, nothing bad happened. So after shutting down, I also engage the parking brake and lock the car for extra peace of mind.
