Steps to turn off the Chery eco mode: 1. Press the "OK" button on the right side of the steering wheel to enter the menu, then use the left and right arrow keys to select the eco mode. When the eco icon appears on the display, it indicates that the eco mode is set; 2. Use the up and down keys on the steering wheel to turn off the eco mode. When the "off" icon appears on the display, it means the eco mode is currently set to off; 3. Finally, press the "OK" button to confirm turning off the eco mode and exit the menu. The Arrizo 5 is a compact car under Chery, with a body structure of a 4-door, 5-seater sedan. The vehicle dimensions are 4572mm in length, 1825mm in width, and 1482mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2670mm. The suspension system adopts a combination of MacPherson independent suspension and torsion beam non-independent suspension.

Last time I drove my friend's Chery Tiggo 8, I also studied the ECO switch. Look for a button with a green leaf or the word 'ECO' near the lower left side of the steering wheel or around the center console. Press it, and the corresponding green indicator light on the dashboard will disappear. After turning it off, the throttle response becomes noticeably more sensitive, with power readily available when overtaking, though fuel consumption may increase by 1-2 points compared to when ECO is on. If you turn off ECO while using the air conditioning or climbing a hill, the power output becomes more direct. The location may vary between different models. If you can't find the button, try looking for the driving mode switch option in the vehicle settings on the center screen and switch to normal mode.

Turning off the ECO mode in Chery vehicles is actually quite simple. Most models operate it via physical buttons—I've noticed the Arrizo 5's button is on the left panel near the gear lever, while the Exeed series integrates it into the steering wheel function keys. Some newer models have removed physical buttons, requiring operation through the 10.25-inch central control screen: tap the vehicle icon - driving preferences - turn off the economy mode. After deactivation, you can clearly feel the transmission shift logic change—previously keeping revs extremely low, it now shifts above 2000 rpm, delivering more responsive acceleration. If you temporarily want to save fuel, just press it back; the switch is instantaneous.

Look for the round button near the left side of the dashboard or the air conditioning panel, which has a small tree seedling logo printed on it. Press it to turn off when the indicator light goes out. After turning it off, the auto start-stop function is often also deactivated, and the engine won't shut off when waiting at a red light. I recommend keeping ECO mode on during highway cruising to save fuel, but turn it off in stop-and-go city driving for smoother power delivery. Remember to turn off ECO when using the heater in winter, otherwise the air conditioning will slack off and heat up more slowly. If you're operating it through the central control screen, it will automatically switch to standard driving mode after being turned off.
