How to Turn Off the ECO Light on the Car Dashboard?

Switch the square button below the dashboard brightness adjustment on the left side of the dashboard to the ECO ON interface, then press and hold to cancel it. Principle of ECO: ECO primarily makes comprehensive judgments and analyses during vehicle movement regarding factors that affect fuel consumption, such as automatic transmission gear position, engine speed, vehicle speed, braking, and transmission oil temperature. In a few cases, it is unnecessary to activate ECO: 1. When the car is driving at high speed (up to 100km/h), even if ECO is turned on, the vehicle's computer will prioritize speed, and the ECO mode will automatically deactivate. 2. When a large torque output is needed, such as when climbing a hill, the engine computer will prioritize ensuring and providing sufficient power to drive the vehicle, and the ECO mode will automatically deactivate.
After driving for so many years, I often encounter the situation where the ECO light is on, indicating that the car is running in fuel-saving mode. To turn it off, I usually check the control buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, where there is a 'mode' or 'drive mode' button. Pressing it can switch the mode from ECO to normal or sport. Some cars don't have a button and require accessing the dashboard menu settings: after starting the vehicle, use the directional keys on the steering wheel to select the settings, find the driving mode menu, and choose to turn off ECO. After turning it off, the engine response becomes more sensitive, suitable for acceleration or mountain driving, but fuel consumption will increase slightly. A reminder: if the light cannot be turned off, it may be due to system settings or a fuse issue, requiring a check at the 4S shop. Overall, keeping it on is beneficial for fuel efficiency and environmental protection; it's only necessary to turn it off in special scenarios.
