How to Turn Off the Continuously Illuminated Brake Light on Chery Tiggo 3?

The piston in the master brake cylinder transmits energy through the brake fluid to the individual brake cylinders located at the wheels, causing the brake pads to come into contact with the wheels. Check if the brake switch has poor contact or failed to reset after loosening. Also, inspect the brake wiring for any signs of poor contact or short circuits.
Last time I drove my old Tiggo 3, I encountered the issue of brake lights staying on constantly, which really startled me. This is usually caused by the brake pedal switch getting stuck - that small plastic block hidden behind the pedal. Try lying down and manually poking it a couple times to see if it resets; if that doesn't work, you'll likely need to replace the switch component. Also, check if the wiring harness connector has come loose from being pressed by floor mats, or if there's a short circuit grounding the wires. Remember to test the battery voltage first - don't foolishly keep draining the battery. Once I tried disconnecting the power for five minutes to let the computer reboot, and surprisingly it worked! If you still can't fix it, hurry to a repair shop to have them check the circuit board - getting rear-ended on the road would be a much bigger headache.
