I've driven a 2012 Focus, and whenever I wanted to turn off the ESP, I just used that button below the left side of the steering wheel. There's a little car skidding icon on that button. If you hold it for about 5 seconds while parked, the dashboard will show 'Stability Control Off'. But I must warn you, don't casually turn this off normally - especially during rain or turns, disabling it can easily cause skidding or loss of control. I tried it once before and nearly had an accident. The Focus's ESP is an automatically activated safety system, and keeping it off long-term may accelerate component wear. If the button malfunctions, check the fuse box located in the glove compartment - simply replacing the fuse should fix it. My general advice is to only briefly disable it for special situations like low-speed off-road sand driving, and make sure to turn it back on immediately after ensuring safety.

What are the requirements for driving a kart?

Karting has no age restrictions. As long as you can sit in the single-seater kart seat, your feet can fully reach the throttle and brake pedals, and your hands have enough strength to steer the wheel, you can drive. Below are some important notes about karting: 1. Seating requirements: After putting on the gear, enter the kart from the left side—left foot first into the left side of the body, followed by the right foot stepping into the right side. Lean your body forward while holding the upper part of the steering wheel to maintain balance. Don’t worry about your weight deforming the kart frame, as it is made of sturdy steel tubing. 2. Driving instructions: Once seated, extend your legs slightly with a natural bend, placing your feet on the pedals. The left pedal is the brake, and the right one is the throttle. Since karts are very low, enter the vehicle slowly to avoid injuring your back. After sitting down, the track staff will help fasten your seatbelt. If it feels too loose, you can ask them to tighten it.

What are the items included in the third maintenance service?

Generally speaking, the routine items for a car's third maintenance include changing the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs, etc. Some brand manufacturers may add additional maintenance items, which depends on the service life of the car parts. Some parts have a shorter service life and are prone to getting dirty, so they need to be replaced frequently; while others have a longer service life. The specific details are as follows: 1. Engine oil: Under the harsh conditions of high temperature and high pressure inside the engine, the shelf life of engine oil is significantly shortened, and its performance greatly declines. Over time, it can no longer protect the engine effectively. The replacement interval for mineral oil is about 5,000 kilometers; for synthetic oil, it is about 10,000 kilometers. 2. Oil filter: To ensure the cleanliness of the oil circuit, the engine is equipped with an oil filter in the lubrication system. Its purpose is to prevent impurities from mixing into the oil, causing oxidation and producing sludge that can clog the oil circuit. The replacement interval for the oil filter is the same as that for the engine oil, and it must be replaced simultaneously with the oil. 3. Air filter: The air filter prevents dust and particles from being sucked into the engine during the intake process. If the filter is not cleaned for a long time, dust will enter the engine, causing abnormal wear on the cylinder walls. It is best to clean the air filter every 5,000 kilometers by blowing it clean with an air gun, and replace it every 10,000 kilometers.
