How to Turn Off BMW's Auto Start-Stop Function?

BMW's auto start-stop function button is located below the engine start button. You need to manually press the 'A off' button to turn the auto start-stop function on or off. After the car is started, the auto start-stop function will automatically activate by default. If you do not wish to use this function, you can manually turn it off before driving. The button light on indicates that the start-stop function is off, while the light off means the function is active. The engine start-stop function is primarily designed to save fuel and reduce fuel consumption. The BMW 5 Series has body dimensions of 5047mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1491mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3108mm.
I used to drive a BMW 3 Series, and the auto start-stop feature was indeed quite annoying. The first thing I did after starting the car was to press the button with the letter A on the center console, near the gear lever. Pressing it would display the start-stop prohibition symbol on the dashboard, and it wouldn't intervene for that trip. However, I later found out that if you frequently drive in congested areas, you can visit a tuning shop to enable hidden functions to permanently disable it or install an auto start-stop module. Turning it off doesn't affect the warranty, but fuel consumption might increase slightly. Still, the absence of that initial jerk when starting is truly comfortable.
