Method to disable auto stop-start: Press the Aoff button to turn it off. Auto stop-start refers to the automatic start-stop system, which is commonly found in many vehicles. When the auto start-stop is activated, applying moderate pressure to the brake pedal will cause the engine to shut off. Releasing the brake pedal will restart the engine, thereby achieving fuel savings—especially useful when waiting at traffic lights in urban areas. The auto start-stop button is typically located in the center console area or next to the push-to-start button. After disabling the auto start-stop, the button icon will illuminate, and the "istop" indicator on the dashboard will disappear. The auto start-stop system operates by pausing the engine (instead of traditional idling) when the vehicle comes to a stop (not in park mode). During this pause, the engine oil continues to circulate, maintaining lubrication inside the engine. Upon releasing the brake pedal, the engine restarts immediately. Since the oil has been circulating continuously, frequent stops and starts will not cause internal wear to the engine.
