p0170 fault troubleshooting method is: check the air flow (MAF) sensor to see if there is air leakage, PCV system leakage, check the oxygen sensor, check whether there is injector blockage or other fuel system failure or EGR system leakage or whether the oil dipstick is properly seated. The P0170 fault code, applicable to all car manufacturers, means fuel trim (air-fuel ratio). The car fault code is the fault code reflected by the car computer ECU after the car fails. Generally, the fault codes are caused by sensor failure or poor sensor performance, but some mechanical faults cannot be read by the ECU.
