Engine water ingress can be handled as follows: 1. Water in the filter: If the engine only has water vapor mixed in from the air filter, simple treatment is sufficient. Just clean the water vapor from the air filter, throttle valve, and cylinder. 2. Engine water ingress without affecting usage: If the engine has a significant amount of water but does not affect normal driving, though the noise is louder, it may be due to a small amount of water in the oil or gasoline. In this case, replace the oil and clean the related engine components. 3. Engine water ingress without starting: If there is a large amount of water ingress, the engine has water inside, but the car has not been started, and the engine is not damaged, you need to drain all the water, clean the interior thoroughly, reassemble it, and replace the oil.
