How to Test the Quality of Toyota Prado Sensors?
1 Answers
Toyota Prado sensor testing methods: 1. Unplug the connector, turn the key to position 2, and use a voltmeter to confirm voltage output; 2. Use a multimeter to identify the ground wire by connecting one probe to the power wire and the other to other wires—the one showing voltage is the ground wire, while the remaining wires are signal wires; 3. Turn off the key, connect the signal wire, plug the connector back in, start the engine, and check for signal voltage output. The voltage should be lower than the supply voltage—if there is none, the sensor is damaged. The Toyota Prado is an imported ORV with body dimensions of 4820mm in length, 1885mm in width, 1845mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2790mm.
