If the car is difficult to start when cold, experiences noticeable jerking while driving, idles roughly, or shows decreased engine acceleration performance, the spark plugs should be promptly inspected. The steps to replace spark plugs are: 1. Wait until the engine is completely cool, open the hood, disconnect the high-voltage pack plug, then use a socket to remove the high-voltage pack to expose the spark plugs; 2. Select a socket according to the size of the spark plug nut and turn counterclockwise to loosen it, then use a magnetic rod to extract the spark plug; 3. Use the magnetic rod to hold the new spark plug and place it into the hole, then follow the reverse steps above for installation.
