How to Tell if the Car is in the Middle of the Road

Look straight ahead. Check the parallelism between the car body and the road markings through the side mirrors, while observing the overall position of the car body via the interior rearview mirror. While driving, use the left edge, center line, and right edge of the road as reference points. Stop the car at each position and note where these references align with the lower edge of the front windshield, then memorize these positions. As long as your right leg consistently aligns with the center line of the road while driving, you can determine that the car is traveling in the middle of the road.
