How to switch driving modes in Mercedes-Benz E300?

On the driver's right-hand side channel cover, there is a dial with buttons on the left to switch between S and C driving modes. Below is an introduction to the driving modes: 1. E is the Economy Mode: When this mode is selected, the engine will automatically coast (i.e., the engine has no RPM, similar to an auto start-stop device) when the accelerator is released during high-speed driving. 2. C is the Comfort Mode: This is closer to the default standard driving mode, offering a balance between power and fuel efficiency for general driving. 3. S is the Sport Mode: The basic vehicle stability assistance is the same as in C mode. When this mode is selected, the transmission will intentionally downshift (higher RPM) and provide slightly more throttle response. 4. S+ is the Sport+ Mode: In this mode, some of the vehicle's stability assistance systems are weakened, emphasizing the car's inherent oversteer or understeer characteristics, requiring more active input from the driver.
