How to switch between S mode and D mode?
1 Answers
S mode and D mode can be directly switched without the need to press the brake or stop the vehicle. S mode is the sport mode, where the vehicle pursues high performance. After switching to S mode, the transmission will delay upshifting to allow the engine to deliver greater power. D mode is the drive mode, where the vehicle focuses on comfort and fuel efficiency. Situations for using S mode include: 1. When climbing hills, the vehicle requires stronger power; 2. When overtaking, it can quickly increase speed for easy overtaking; 3. For older vehicles, when the air conditioning is turned up high in summer and the engine power is insufficient, some drivers may start directly in S mode.
